Pittsburgh Steelers 2026 NFL Draft grades:

[Locklear]

picking Penn Place quarterback Drew Allar with the 76th all round select. The substantial, athletic quarterback previously enters a quarterback house with Will Howard, Mason Rudolph, and possibly Aaron Rodgers. Listed here is what our workforce concept of the opt Parish: It wasn't carefully unforeseen https://www.pittsburghfansapparel.com/collections/ryan-mccollum-jersey, the Steelers contain been forecasting that they'd becoming using a quarterback this draft. Drew Allar is made up of all the components Mike McCarthy likes inside of a quarterback, unless perhaps remaining Terrific at soccer. Inside a posting Josh Allen and Sam Darnold Tremendous Bowl champion entire world, we can't at any time rule out latestage progress. And Allar does consist of a in a natural way substantial arm, even if he doesn't understand how towards employ the service of it constantly. It's period for McCarthy towards location his income where by is mouth is as a QB expert. At bare minimum the Steelers are throwing darts until eventually they discover their male. In just 2025 the Nittany Lion overlooked the the greater part of the year with a weakened ankle. Irrespective of the bump the 6footfive QB ongoing in the direction of acquire upon his arm ability that assisted Penn Nation achieve the University Soccer semifinals a period previous. In addition Kevin Jobity Jr. Jersey, Allar is proceeding in the direction of identify his adaptability upon the flooring and extending performs with his ft. Even though there is upside, I sense Pittsburgh may include waited yet another spherical or 2 toward get him.  BRyland Bickley: Yeah, I dress in't get pleasure from this 1. Nevertheless developing doubledigit alternatives inside the draft devoid of a obvious resolution at quarterback, working with a single of those people alternatives in direction of get a prospect upon another person designed a good deal of truly feel. I'm basically not confident if I would've long gone with this quarterback at this place. However Allar yes includes the form of properties I've desired the Steelers in the direction of wager upon for a little bit at the moment, even if he's continue to worryingly significantly in opposition to staying a extensive task. I wear't incorporate higher benchmarks, still I have an understanding of the determination. Quality: BJarrett Bailey: It's no magic formula that I'm a Drew Allar gentleman. Within just about each and every mock I did inside this treatment, he was the quarterback I picked out toward transfer towards the Steelers, as a result it goes with no boasting I appreciate the decide on. Will it get the job done out? I have on't understand. Yet a person with his measurement Kyler Baugh Jersey, athleticism, and arm vitality is one thing that an individual who fancies himself a quarterback whisperer need to be in a position in the direction of assist attain his finish foreseeable future. I can't be reluctant in the direction of perspective him upon the business, and anticipate this is the longterm alternative at quarterback.
